Path to natural sandstone arch reopens

The national park administration has overseen the removal of a large piece of fallen cliff that had blocked the path leading to Pravcicka brana natural sandstone arch. The path from Hrensko through Tri Prameny has now reopened to foot traffic. Hikers can once again visit the national parkland’s major attraction.

The development means that Pravcicka brana will return to the limited operations it has had in recent months. It is open to tourists on weekends (Friday through Sunday). On weekdays foresters are at work removing trees damaged by the forest fire last summer. These trees must be removed so that they cannot threaten park visitors.
