Mark your calendar for April 15. After an involuntary years-long break, the Tourist season kick-off is back! It will take place on the river bank in Decin in the shadow of the castle. There will be regional goods for sale, a great cultural program, sporting events, and lots of information from attractive tourist destinations and activities in the area, including the Bohemian Central Uplands, Bohemian Switzerland, and our neighbors in Saxony. The fun starts at 10 am. The program includes a bike ride, unlocking the Elbe trail, and night climbs on the via ferrata where climbers can scale the cliff by moonlight.

We know that everyone needs a chance to unwind. That’s why we’ve prepared a relaxation zone at the foot of the castle. In addition to relaxational spots, there are three tents – one for Decin DJs that will spin their best vinyl for your pleasure, from jazz to funk, and the other two serving food and drink from the Ve Vlnach teahouse and David Nüsser, with his burgers and other tasty treats from the grill.

The season kick-off will also start a series of evening cultural events in Krizova ulice every Wednesday, starting April 19. These will include live music, food and drink, and will continue through September.
