Cross-country skiing trails in the surroundings
Many of us go cross-country skiing on the white trails or just into the countryside to ski. There are groomed cross-country skiing trails in Sněžník, Lusatian and Ore Mountains. For us, the closest trails are on Snowman.
How the trail is groomed will affect the cross-country skiing experience. We recommend cross-country skiing on Sněžník, as the trails are quite narrow and skating would destroy the classic tracks. The main route "Magistrála" leads from the Sněžník Hotel to the Rájecká sedlo. There and back you can enjoy cross-country skiing for 12.6 km. Other possible routes are marked on maps installed at important trail crossings. Other locations suitable for cross-country skiing are Lusatian Mountains.
Many groomed cross-country skiing trails can also be found in Ore Mountainsfor example, in the Long Meadow. There are several circuits divided by colour. Cross-country skiing is also available on Telnice, Bouřňák and Klíny.
