In May and June you can visit the Zoo Děčín on weekends or holidays for a guided animal feeding. More information about the event can be found on the zoo's website.

1. in June, children aged 3-15 can enter for only 10,-. The event is valid when accompanied by an adult, but not for school or other groups.

Kvádrberk Forest Park is located at the southern foot of Stoličná Mountain. There you will find cross-country skiing trails and paths suitable for trail riding. The forest park is also crossed by a red hiking trail towards Hřensko.

Shepherd's Path

Mariánská louka, located in the centre of the town south of the castle gardens, is a unique site with the remains of a medieval town. Today, Mariánská louka has the atmosphere of an oasis of peace in the centre of Děčín, inviting to picnics and walks throughout the year.

Marian Meadow

It is a separate aquarium and terrarium exposition of the Děčín Zoo. This unique exposition presents the fauna of several geographical areas from coral reefs, through mangrove coasts to deserts.

From this bus station all public transport buses and regular buses to the surrounding villages depart.

One of the most beautiful sightseeing places in Decin. From here you can see the city of Děčín like in the palm of your hand. There is a zoo and a forest park in the vicinity of the viewpoint, where you will find a nature trail and Nordic walking trails.

Via the railway station Děčín East you can reach the Šluknov foothills, the surroundings of Jedlová or the Liberec region.

Děčín main railway station is the central railway station in the Podmokly district of Děčín. From here you can get to Prague, Dresden or Berlin.

Zoological garden

Stoličná hora or also the table mountain Kvádrberk offers visitors a beautiful view, especially of Děčín and the Elbe valley. The way here is along the red hiking trail.

The Elbe Guard consists of a stone pavilion at the northern end of the top of the Kvádrberk Forest Park. From here you have incredible views of the Elbe Canyon. A red hiking trail leads here.

One of the country’s oldest and largest heritage sites, Decin Castle dominates the city center. The castle’s Long Drive is a national architectural treasure.

The via ferrata scales the cliff face in the very heart of town, just across the river from Decin Castle. Opened in April 2014, it now offers 14 climbing routes of various levels of difficulty.

Děčín Hospital is equipped with an extensive parking lot. Bus line 201 (final stop of the Děčín Hospital) also runs here.

The Decin District Museum is the only museum in the country with an exhibit dedicated to the development of water traffic on the Elbe. The museum’s other permanent exhibits explore the history of the area.

Decin Museum

The iconic Elbe Steamer sets sail from Smetana embankment. It sails upstream and you can take it all the way to Roudnice n.L. A short distance away, in front of the local library, the cruise ship Bohemia sets sail and takes you through the Elbe Canyon to Germany.

The synagogue was built in 1907 in a combination of Art Nouveau and Oriental styles. It was one of the few synagogues to survive World War II without any major damage. A tour of the synagogue is possible only by appointment.

In the Pivovar Shopping Centre you will find a wide range of shops and also the local brewery Kapitán with a brewery restaurant. For families with children there is also a large indoor playground Hopsárium.

Decin’s swimming pool is a modern recreational complex fed by a natural hot spring. It has both indoor and outdoor areas.

Home games of the ice hockey club HC Děčín take place at the ice rink. Its capacity is 5 100 spectators. It is also a popular public skating venue in winter.

The municipal swimming pool is located in the northern part of Česká Kamenice. The area of the municipal swimming pool has been completely renovated in recent years and was opened to the public in 2002.

Olešský rybník or also Stará Oleška is a pond located east of the settlement Stará Oleška (village Huntířov), about 5 km west of the town - the conservation area Česká Kamenice.

the pool is divided into two parts - the main pool and the children's paddling pool. The size of the main pool is 20x40m. Surrounding the pool is a grassy area, which serves as a relaxation area for visitors.
