The popular Rudolfův kámen lookout point is set to undergo much-needed repairs and will therefore be closed for a while

Work began yesterday on the restoration of the gazebo at the top of Rudolf's Rock. The roof, shutters, and doors will be repaired; the wooden elements will also be restored, and one of the supporting beams will be replaced.

During the work, not only the observation deck itself but also the access staircase will be closed. Due to the nature of the repairs, the observation deck will not be open to the public on weekends.

Road closure starting: October 6, 2026

Repairs will be carried out on the roof, doors, shutters, and wooden structures. The work will also include replacing a load-bearing beam. The observation deck and the access staircase will be closed.

Estimated duration of repairs: through the end of October. The observation deck will not be open on weekends. We will provide updates regarding any earlier reopening or extension of the repair work.
