Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) has a knack for solving complex problems. When an old acquaintance is murdered and leaves behind a mysterious note, Wolff is forced to solve the case. Realizing that more extreme measures need to be taken, Wolff enlists the help of his brother Brax (Jon Bernthal). Working with the Deputy Director of the U.S. Treasury Department, Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), they uncover a deadly conspiracy and become the target of a ruthless network of killers who will stop at nothing to keep their secret buried.
