City Library

The town library boasts a modern building built specifically for the needs of readers. The building is interesting not only for its unusual shape, but also for its facade, which is one of the landmarks of the town. It is decorated with colourful spines of books. Inside you will find not only classic book lending and education centrebut also the Tourist Information Centre, which is a bit of a café. It offers excellent coffee from the Děčín roastery, beer from local small breweries and other regional products and promotional items of the city. You can relax at the outdoor and indoor seating while enjoying the view of the Shepherd's Wall and the Elbe River.

Cyclists can also find here bike boxes suitable for charging electric bikes. The town library has comfortable public toilets. They are open from 8 am to 6 pm in summer and from 9 am to 5 pm in winter.
