The Tourist Information Centre is located in the building of the beautiful modern Děčín Municipal Library. Here you will find numerous promotional materials and maps of Děčín and its surroundings, which are available free of charge. In addition, visitors can buy regional products such as cosmetics Nobilis Tilia from Vlčí Hora, natural soaps from Koukol Soap Factory, teas and spirits Grešík, chocolate Jordán and other souvenirs with the brand of Bohemian Switzerland. You can also buy promotional materials of the town such as calendars, pexes, T-shirts, cycling jerseys, magnets and postcards with the theme of Děčín. You can also buy tickets for cultural events in Děčín at the information centre. At the same time, you can buy a Cruise Card for the small boats, which will allow you to get to the port at any hour. The card will also provide you with a supply of drinking water and an electricity connection for your boat.

The information centre also functions as a café, offering coffee directly from the Caffe 08 roastery in Děčín and also something to eat. You can sit either in the cozy interior of the Info Centre or on the terrace, from where you can enjoy a nice view of the Dečín part of the Elbe Canyon, including the iconic Tyrš Bridge and the popular viewpoint - the Shepherd's Wall.

If you want to put your bike down when you arrive in Děčín and enjoy the city on your own, you can leave it in the bike boxes, which are just a few steps from the information centre.

Certification

The information centres in the town library and at the main railway station have fulfilled the requirements for the provision of tourist information centres in the Czech Republic and have thus become certified information centres.
