The tourist line T2, known as the Bohemian Switzerland Train, is ideal for visitors who want to explore the beauty of the national park. The line is in operation from 29 March to 3 November 2024 and runs only on weekends and public holidays. It can be used not only for hiking but also for transporting bicycles, although the capacity for bicycles is limited.
The route leads to:from Děčín via Markvartice, Česká Kamenice, Kytlice, Rybniště, to Varnsdorf and via Krásná Lípa to Rumburk and Mikulášovice.
From 2024, Desiro cars in the DÚK colours will be running on the line, with Regionova motor units as a backup. The capacity of one Desiro unit is 126 seats and 5 space for bicycles, Regionova has a seating capacity of 84 seats and 6 places for bicycles.
Reservations for bicycle transport can be made via the DÚKapka app, no later than 2 days in advance for the section Děčín-Rybniště for a maximum of 6 bicycles, which is half of the transport capacity of the train set in this section. There is no possibility to book a bicycle transport on the section Rybniště-Mikulášovice/Rumburk.
Bicycle tickets are fully transferable - within the integrated DUC system, you can use them to transfer between trains, buses and boats for the entire duration of their validity. An hourly ticket is available for CZK 25 and an all-day bicycle ticket for CZK 50.
