If you are a lover of working with wood and saw, do not miss the traditional event in Děčín under the castle - Sculptors of Děčínwhich always has an interesting accompanying programme, a varied music scene, but also good food. Seeing the original chainsaw show is definitely worth it. The event takes place every year in May as part of the Děčín Town Festival.

The first edition took place in 2014. The 2019 edition was held in cooperation with German partners and focused on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Děčín Zoo. More than 40 sculptors participated. Artists from Russia, New Zealand, Holland, Germany, Slovakia sculpted in Děčín. The same was the case in other years. The main idea is always to create works that will be placed in the public space and will serve the citizens and visitors of the city. More than 50 works of art such as benches, sculptures and other objects are placed around Decin and its surroundings. They have a long lifespan and will remain there for at least 50 years. In 2023, a Nativity scene was formed for Cross Street.
