Cycling through the Elbe Valley

The route takes you through the Elbe River canyon, which is flanked on both sides by massive sandstone massifs. From the starting point, you will follow the Elbe Trail - CT 2, which follows the Elbe River Canyon to the village of Königstein. The impressive rock fortress of the same name towers above the village. You can return the same way, or you can take a ride ships from the spa town of Bad Schandau. You can also use the train and a discounted ticket for one trip Elbe/Elbe.

Several taverns and refreshments will make the journey comfortable, which you can do with small children or on skates. Then the German fortress is a beautiful destination Königstein. It is one of the largest rock fortresses in Europe. It is situated in the middle of the Elbe Sandstones on the eponymous Table Mountain. All expositions are in Czech language.
