Christmas is coming! Advent markets, concerts and a holiday trail

Krizova ulice transforms into “Christmas Alley” for the Advent season starting on 28 November. There will be stalls with goodies, gifts and a music program every day throughout December. You can also look forward to St. Nicholas Day (Dec. 5), a live Nativity and a school craft market.

On the town square, on Saturday, 29 November, a holiday food festival will feature regional specialties, workshops for kids and a potato salad contest.

The first Sunday of Advent on 30 November brings us a Christmas market and tree lighting ceremony on the main square. The headline performer is singer Tereza Maskova. There will also be holiday workshops and a trainride for children.

A traditional Christmas market with live music will take place on Hus Square on the left bank of the river.

This year, we also present our first ever Christmas Trail taking visitors through a series of stations with easy tasks for a small reward at the end. The trail will be accessible via a mobile app.
