Current information from the National Park Bohemian Switzerland

current information for visitors of Bohemian Switzerland in connection with the ongoing intervention of fire brigades in the area between Rynartice, Dolní Chřibská and Tokání.

The destination is open:
The main tourist destinations (Pravčická brána, Divoká gorge near Mezná, Jetřichovice viewpoints, Tisza walls, etc.) are safe and accessible without restrictions.

The services are working:
Accommodation and restaurants throughout the region are open and welcoming guests.

The hit is localized:
Firefighters are working in a specific forest section. It looks like the area has been reduced and we firmly believe that the worst is over (as of May 4, 2026).

Transportation:
Tourist bus 434 (Děčín - Hřensko - Jetřichovice - Chřibská - Krásná Lípa) runs on a detour route via Český Kamenice, trains are without restrictions.

Temporary restrictions in the field

The following hiking trails remain temporarily closed in the affected area due to the movement of firefighting equipment:

  • Cycle route No. 3029 between the Saula Information Centre and the Na Tokání junction

  • Cycle route No. 3076 between the First Gate junction (near Doubice) and the Na Tokání junction

  • Blue walking route in the section between Křížový vrch u Rynartic and the crossroads Pod Suchým vrchem

The closures are marked in the field with information signs and continuously checked by the national park rangers.

Closed roads

Sections of the road remain closed:

  • Doubice - Dolní Chřibská (IS Saula) - Jetřichovice

  • Chřibská (square) - Dolní Chřibská (IS Saula)

The closures are monitored by the Police of the Czech Republic.

Notice

Traditional tourist destinations in the vicinity of the fire station are accessible to visitors. However, the following still apply throughout the national park:

  • temporary ban on movement during night hours

  • prohibition of movement outside the marked routes

Events for the public

At the same time, public events are not cancelled.

All planned events are proceeding as planned.
