Opening of a new hiking trail

The administration of the National Park Bohemian Switzerland cordially invites you to the opening of a new cross-border tourist path that connects Hřensko with Schmilka and also connects the viewing platform Phoenix in the National Park Bohemian Switzerland with an adventure trail Journey into the wilderness in the Saxon Switzerland National Park.

Starting point: The festive programme will start at 11 a.m. in the valley of Suchá Bělá, meeting at the turn-off from the road Hřensko - Mezní Louka (100 m from the water treatment plant building).

The length of the route Hřensko - Schmilka is 4 km (hilly terrain).

Recommended hiking shoes and clothing appropriate to the terrain and weather.

Recommended tourist transport:

• Tourist bus No. 434 from Děčín Central Station at 10:16 a.m. to Hřensko Water Treatment Plant

• From Schmilka you can take bus 435 from Schmilka,Grenzübergang station at 13:28 or 14:28 for the return journey to Hřensko. You can also take the ferry and train from Schmilka-Hirschmühle station at 13:22 or 14:22 to Schöna station and then take the ferry to Hřensko.
