What does the work of firefighters entail in moments when every second counts?

The summer exhibition at the Pivovar Center Gallery will offer a close-up look at the day-to-day work of professional firefighters. You’ll see authentic photographs from real emergency responses, firefighting gear and technical equipment, mannequins in firefighting suits, video projections, and other interesting exhibits.

One section of the exhibition will also commemorate the massive fire in Bohemian Switzerland, which required the response of hundreds of firefighters from across the Czech Republic. The incident demonstrated just how important professionalism, cooperation, perseverance, and maximum dedication are during such operations.

However, the exhibition is not just about technology and equipment. Above all, it highlights the people who are ready to help when health, property, and human lives are at stake. At the same time, it serves as a tribute to all those who work in this demanding profession.
