Opening of the tourist season 2026

The first event of the year is here. Come with us to start the tourist season in style on 18.4.2026.

The city of Decin invites all lovers of hiking, good food and fun to the festive opening of the tourist season 2026. The event will offer a varied all-day programme for families with children, active visitors and all those who want to enjoy a relaxing day at the Elbe.

The main event will take place at the area under the town library, where facilities will be prepared for a cultural programme, a gastronomic zone and accompanying activities.

The whole day will be a combination of music, gastronomy, demonstrations by the emergency services and presentations of the region's tourist attractions. The event will symbolically start a new season of trips, exploring and active leisure in the surroundings of Děčín.

Visitors can look forward to:

• live music of various genres

• attractive firefighting demonstrations

• regional gastronomy at the food festival

• presentation of tourist destinations in Bohemian Switzerland and its surroundings

• sports and adventure activities
