Her artistic career is reminiscent of some "fairy tale" biographies.
Teplická 371/72, 40502 Děčín, Ústecký kraj, ČeskoZuzana Navarová discovered her on the street in 1993 and just three days later she was singing in the shrine of Czech singers, in Prague's Lucerna. A few weeks later she triumphed there as an "opening act" for the famous American singer Susanne Vega, and six years later she had the same honour at a concert by Mike Oldfield. Since then, she has released a number of highly successful solo albums, breaking sales records without any advertising, won several Golden Angels and scored points in the Golden Nightingale poll.
Thanks to its uniqueness and original songs, drawing mainly from Czech tradition, it has also attracted audiences abroad, for example in Poland and France. Radůza manages to accompany herself on several musical instruments, her singing thunders but also gently tells touching stories. In October 2023, in the year of her round jubilee, she decided to take stock and is releasing a double album entitled Once Upon a Time, which contains a selection of the most successful songs she has composed during the thirty years of her musical career so far. This time, accompanied by Josef Štěpánek (guitar) and Miloš Dvořáček (drums), she will present a cross-section of her work to date.
