Tyrš's Děčín

194 years since the birth of one of Sokol’s founders, Dr. Miroslav Tyrš, and 163 years since the founding of Sokol — these two significant anniversaries will be celebrated in mid-September, from Friday through Sunday, September 18–20, 2026, in Děčín.

• Kvádrberk Forest Park with Stoličná Mountain and the Imperial Lookout

  Memorial Ceremony - North Bohemian Sokol District – Novákova

• 12:00 p.m.: A memorial ceremony in honor of Dr. Miroslav Tyrš will be held at his statue on Smetana Embankment

 Ceremonial Parade - North Bohemian Sokol District – Novákova

• After the memorial ceremony, a procession will wind its way through the city, ending this year in the South Gardens of Děčín Castle

 Tyrš Trail – M. Tyrš Elementary School

• Starting at 2:00 p.m. on Smetana Embankment near the hang glider, Tyrš Trail, under the direction of M. Tyrš Elementary School, which will test physical fitness.

 5. Gala Ball - North Bohemian Sokol District – Novákova

• Venue: Děčín Castle

• The band U-Style will be performing, and you can look forward to dance performances, acrobatics, and a midnight surprise.
