Děčín Zoo welcomed this year's 100,000th visitor

This year's 100,000th visitor was eight-year-old Tonda Beňo from Liberec, who went on a trip to the zoo by train from Liberec with his grandparents and older sister. "We like the Děčín Zoo very much. We try to visit it every year and this year we are looking forward to seeing the new bear Irina," said his grandfather on behalf of his grandson. He also really appreciated the opportunity to go to the zoo by bus for free. The zoo director Roman Řehák personally welcomed the jubilee visitors at the zoo ticket office and handed them a package of promotional items, including a large teddy bear and a free ticket for the next visit.
If the visitor statistics are similar to last year, Děčín Zoo aspires to reach the 130,000 visitors mark. The highest number of visitors was recorded in 2022, when the zoo received a total of 133,968 visitors.
