Edmund's Gorge Reopens

A popular tourist attraction in Hřensko will reopen to the public on Thursday, June 18.

Nature lovers and hikers have reason to celebrate. Edmund’s Gorge, one of the biggest tourist attractions in the Hřensko area, will reopen to the public on Thursday, June 18, at 10:00 a.m.

Guided tours will resume. Groups of approximately 20 to 25 people will depart every hour and will always be accompanied by two guides. The last group will enter the gorge at 5:00 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased directly at the entrance to Edmund’s Gorge on the Hřensko side. Organizers recommend that visitors follow the latest information regarding operations, any changes to opening hours, or other important announcements via Hřensko’s official profiles on Facebook and Instagram.

The reopening of Edmund’s Gorge marks a significant step for tourism in the region and, at the same time, the return of a unique experience that attracts thousands of visitors from the Czech Republic and abroad every year. Visitors can look forward to the unmistakable atmosphere of a romantic boat ride among the sandstone cliffs and the natural beauty of the Bohemian Switzerland National Park.

The gorge’s management team is looking forward to welcoming its first visitors and is confident that together they will enjoy many pleasant moments in one of the most picturesque spots in northern Bohemia.
