Tip: Where to go for Halloween celebrations in Děčín?

The Halloween weekend is coming up, so we have some tips for events that will appeal to children in particular, but certainly to adults as well.

Haunted trail in Zoo Děčín 2. 11.

This afternoon full of pumpkins, scarecrows and lanterns for the whole family was prepared by the zoo in cooperation with the House of Children and Youth in Děčín and you have a lot to look forward to!

Program

• 15.00 - 16.15 pumpkin carving in the amphitheatre

• 16.15 - announcement of the NEJ pumpkin

• 16.30 - 18.00 trail of courage with a reward at the finish

This year, don't expect stations with tasks. There will be a haunted trail of courage at the top of the zoo where you will meet lots of scarecrows and Halloween props. The only challenge will be to walk the trail from start to finish and collect a reward at the end for your bravery! We recommend you bring a headlamp or lantern along for the ride. The trail will not be suitable for strollers. Due to trail preparations, a portion of the zoo will be closed on November 1.

Pumpkin

The zoo will have a limited number of pumpkins available (we will be giving them away for free). However, if you want to be sure to carve your own pumpkin on this day, we recommend bringing your own. We will have the tools for carving available, but we also recommend bringing your own.You can either enter your carved pumpkin in the BEST pumpkin contest or take it to your favorite animal at the zoo to serve as an autumn decoration.

Sale of souvenirs

A limited number of Halloween-themed souvenirs will be available for purchase at the zoo - a flashlight lantern set, 2 types of glowing lanterns.

Halloween trail in Ludvíkovice 2.11.

You can also go to the village of Ludvíkovice for the Halloween trail. There will be a haunted trail from 18:00 to 19:30, starting from the local cemetery, where the Balloon Evička will be waiting for children with her performance. Headlamps and flashlights with you :-).
