Tyrs Bridge reopens

As of 12:00 June 5, Tyrs Bridge is again open to all traffic.

The bridge reopened to vehicle traffic this afternoon, having passed inspection by a structural engineer after a damaged portion of its steel construction was replaced. The bridge is now open not only to pedestrians, cyclists, and public transport, but to passenger cars as well. Please respect traffic signs:

• The temporary speed limit on the bridge is 20 km/h

• There may be lane closures in places where repairs are underway

Other planned work on the bridge will continue. On some days, the bridge may be partially closed.

Další plánované stavební práce, konkrétně oprava dilatace, budou průběžně pokračovat. V některých dnech tak bude na mostě kyvadlově řízená doprava.

The bridge was closed entirely almost one month ago on Friday, 2 May. Work began on temporary support of the bridge immediately.
