Děčín - Sněžník - Tisá - Adolfov - Komáří hůrka - Krupka - Teplice
The trip starts in Děčín. From the crossroads Přípeř take the cycle route No. 23, which is also part of the Erzgebirge Highway. And it is to the Ore Mountains that this trip is heading.
From the beginning you will have a significant climb - from Děčín to Sněžník you will climb over 450 metres. As a reward, you can enjoy refreshments in the Swiss House restaurant, an ideal place for a short rest. Afterwards, continue along Route 23 to Tisá, where the local rock town is definitely worth a visit. Remember, however, that you can only explore the sandstone labyrinth on foot - bicycles must be left, for example, at the tourist lodge. After the tour of the rocks, the Erzgebirge Highway will take you to the Erzgebirge itself, which geographically starts between Tisá and Petrovice. The route continues through Krásný Les and Nakléřov to Adolfov. From there it is not far to the destination of the trip - Komáří hůrka. This mountain with a height of 808 m above sea level is a popular tourist destination in every season. On the top there is a mountain hotel with a restaurant and one of the oldest cable cars in the Czech Republic. Cyclists will appreciate the refreshments and the beautiful views of the Krušné hory ridge and the peaks of the Bohemian Central Highlands.
From Komáří hůrka, you will have a long and fun descent to the town of Krupka, which - like the surrounding landscape - forms part of the Krupka Mining Landscape. From Krupka it is only a short walk to the spa town of Teplice, from where you can take a comfortable train back to Děčín.
