A new hiking trail leads from Dolni Zleb across the border into Germany. This cross-border trail with a green trail marker leads to places of natural beauty and historical sites.
Deep in the forest of the national park rises a sandstone bluff. At its top once stood the castle Schauenstein. The spot affords a great view of the area around Vysoká Lípa and much of Bohemian Switzerland.

This border ferry takes hikers and cyclists across the Elbe River between the Schöna railway station and Hrensko.
The ferry at the German village of Kurort Rathen crosses the Elbe just north of the Czech-German border. A popular crossing for tourists visiting the Bastei on the river’s right bank.
Connecting the left and right banks of the Elbe River between Usti and Decin, this anchored ferry is motorless, using the current to transport hikers, cyclists, cars, and trucks on the 130-meter journey between banks.
The northernmost ferry crossing in the country is at Dolni Zleb on the Elbe River.
