The yellow hiking trail in the Divoká rokle near Doubice (Hřebcový důl, yellow TZT from the crossroads with cycling route no. 3031 to the boundary of the tranquility zone) has been closed. The reason for the closure is the high risk of falling trees affected by bark beetle calamity, which cannot be felled.
Cutting down the trees would damage the unique ecosystem of the local waterlogged spruce forests, which are essential for the survival of endangered plant and animal species in the national park.
